In 2022, a complete redesign of the 18-hole course at Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club was completed by Brian Costello of JMP Golf Design Group. This two-year project included the addition of a championship tee, an expanded putting green and a complete reconstruction of all 18 holes with state-of-the-art bunkers, USGA specified greens, environmentally sustainable irrigation and landscaping that better integrates this unique setting with the surrounding hills of Arastradero Nature Preserve. The 2022 redesign resuscitated the course’s connection to the beautiful native landscape, with enhanced playability for Members and an elevated experience for guests who are treated to unparalleled views of the hills and bay waters. Building upon the original 1958 vision of famed architect Clark Glasson, which was expanded upon in 1999 by award-winning architect Robert Muir Graves, Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club now offers championship-caliber play with panoramic views adjacent to a peaceful natural setting, making this a top destination for golfers in the Bay Area.
