It had a professional vibe, expressed in events such as the Nike tournaments they used to host. The layout and design were unique for the area, Csencsits said.

But it also had a problem: the price.

“There are tons of golf courses in our immediate area that are of fine or equal condition, at a lost less price,” he said.
