#3 starts with a massive downhill tee shot. The par 4 may appear long on the scorecard, but plays much shorter. The green on this hole can even be reached by longer hitters. There is a landing area near where the cart path crosses the fairway. The downside to an aggressive tee shot past this landing area is a steeply sloping, uneven approach.
The approach is typically a challenging shot from elevation, or a delicate uneven pitch from a short distance. The green is bunkered on the left and right, but there is a bit of access directly in front. The putting surface is straightforward, and this hole may bring birdies to many stronger players.
