The tee shot on #7 is one of the most interesting on the course. It plays over a ridge to the creek on the right side. The creek is about 320 from the back cut, so the sloping fairway toward the creek will definitely be an added risk factor for longer hitters.
The approach on this hole is dramatic. Anything right of the green will be in the creek, but two bunkers also guard the left side of the green. The hole is a short par 4, but both shots are incredibly challenging.
“Finding the left side of the fairway here is important yet the left to right cant of the ground is of no help… Tee balls missed straight through the fairway find a difficult Bermuda lie and a poor angle with potential tree trouble.”
