Number 1 handicap hole, due in part to length, but mainly due to the difficulty of the green. Pretty open, straight fairway. Trees left and right that will act as jail for crimes committed off the tee and prevent all but the most deserving shots from reaching the green. Plenty of bunkers surrounding the end of the fairway and green for those who dare try to break out. Then comes the challenge as the green is tiered, continuing the constant back-to-front theme, yet never level. Only #17 has more movement in a putt regardless of where it is coming from. Not deceptively, just challenging in the lack of subtlety seen up to this point.
