You cannot see the green from the teebox- you are looking at 5s green up on the hill, which is a good target for shorter hitters. Longer hitters want to be right center of fairway. Either way, the miss is right. Anything left flirts with danger.

On the approach shot, short is better then long. Both long and left are trouble. Front of green is the number, even if pin is in the back.
