The start of the back nine features the first water hazard on the course. This downhill par 4 will be reachable by many. Going for it will be a gamble for most players, as clearing the water safely will be about 250 yard carry from the whites, and about a 265 yard carry from the blues. Those unwilling to take the chance also risk rolling downhill into the water.
The approach will be into an elevated semi-volcano green. The green is one of the most sloped on the course, and players should be extremely careful of shot placement when the hole is in the front of the green.
Note: If you leave any food you purchased at the turn unattended while on the tee, even in a cart, it will almost certainly be taken/eaten by grackles.
